The Founder
Dr. Ike Anosike
Dr Ike Anosike's love for nature and clean environment led to the formalization of Climate & Green World Foundation.
The Foundation is an environmental and climate-focused organisation committed to protecting nature, strengthening communities and advancing practical solutions to the growing challenges of climate change and environmental degradation.
CGWF was founded on a simple conviction: the environment on which communities depend must be protected, restored and sustainably managed if people and future generations are to thrive.

Across Africa, particularly in vulnerable communities, climate change and environmental degradation are already affecting livelihoods, food security, health and economic opportunities. Deforestation, ecosystem loss, unsustainable land use, pollution and low public awareness continue to place additional pressure on already fragile environments.
CGWF works to bridge the gaps between climate knowledge and practical community action. Our work focuses on climate and environmental awareness, ecosystem restoration, tree planting, biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihoods, community engagement and climate education.
We believe that lasting environmental change cannot be achieved by institutions alone. Communities must understand the challenges, participate in the solutions and have the tools to act.
Through partnerships with communities, schools, government institutions, businesses, development organisations and other stakeholders, CGWF seeks to turn environmental awareness into measurable action and build communities that are better prepared to respond to a changing climate.

My interest in climate change grew out of my journey as a medical student, with a heart set by God's grace on specializing in paediatrics. Even at this stage of training, I've seen how climate change isn't just an environmental issue but a health crisis unfolding in real time, often affecting children first, through malnutrition, waterborne illness, and heat-related conditions.
As I train toward a future in paediatrics, I see my role extending beyond the clinic: advocating for policies that protect vulnerable communities from climate-driven health risks, and helping bridge the gaps between environmental awareness and public health action. I believe sustainable, resilient communities begin with informed, committed individuals and I'm determined to be one of them.

My interest in climate change stems from a fascination with how interconnected biological systems truly are. As a medical student, I've come to appreciate that human health doesn't exist in isolation; it responds to shifts in temperature, air quality, food security, and disease patterns, many of which are being reshaped by a changing climate.
This has sparked a deeper curiosity in me: how do we prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals to anticipate and respond to these shifts? I see this not just as an environmental concern, but as a call to think ahead blending scientific rigor with a genuine commitment to safeguarding the health of future generations.
